Meet Our Teachers
The wonderful teachers at The Children's Corner have years of experience with young children and are eager to learn through reading and attending workshops and conferences. They are able to work with other teachers for the benefit of the children and the school. Our teachers are warm and affectionate and care for each child deeply. They are firm, as well as gentle; consistent, as well as flexible. They treat children with dignity and respect and encourage independence. Our teachers accept children as they are, with their own special growth rate and capacity for physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development. In years past, our teachers were selected as mentors for IUPUI, working with their associates degree or kindergarten endorsement candidates. Lead teachers have degrees in education, as do some assistants and aides.
